 Paint Protection Film
PPF is a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) film applied to your car's painted surfaces. It acts as a physical barrier against rock chips, scratches, bird droppings, and UV rays. The self-healing topcoat uses heat — or in our Wolverine Series, ambient temperature — to close micro-scratches automatically, keeping your paint in showroom condition for years.
Our Clear Gloss PPF is optically transparent — it actually enhances depth and gloss rather than diminishing it. When professionally installed, the film is virtually undetectable at normal viewing distances. Panel edges are tucked or wrapped, not trimmed on the paint surface. The only visual change you'll notice is a slightly improved gloss depth.
Yes — PPF can be applied over ceramic-coated paint, though the surface must be properly prepared. For maximum protection, we recommend PPF first, then a ceramic coating applied on top of the PPF. This stacks physical protection with chemical resistance and superior hydrophobics for an ultimate finish combination.
Both use the same Lubrizol Estane TPU base film. The difference is in the topcoat formulation. Clear Gloss uses a heat-activated self-healing topcoat — minor scratches disappear with a heat gun or hot water. The Wolverine Series uses an advanced elastomeric topcoat that heals at room temperature within seconds, with no heat source required. Wolverine also carries a 10-year warranty vs 8 years for Clear Gloss.
Significantly and positively. PPF-protected paint is typically in factory condition when the film is removed, commanding a meaningful premium at resale. Buyers increasingly look for PPF-certified vehicles as a signal of careful ownership — especially for luxury and performance cars. A documented 10-year warranty also provides reassurance to buyers.
Yes, PPF is fully removable. When removed by a trained installer using proper techniques (gentle heat, professional tools), Delta PPF leaves no adhesive residue and causes no damage to factory paint. It's designed to be reversible — which is one of its key advantages over paint jobs or vinyl wraps.
Full body PPF covers every painted panel on the vehicle — hood, fenders, doors, bumpers, pillars, roof, and trunk. Partial coverage focuses on high-impact zones: typically the full hood, front bumper, fenders, side mirrors, and door edges. Our Essentials package covers the most vulnerable areas at a fraction of the full-body cost.
 Window Film
Indian law mandates a minimum VLT (Visible Light Transmission) of 70% for the windshield and 50% for all other windows. Our Windshield Protection Film is fully compliant at 70%+ VLT. For side and rear windows, our IR Ceramic and Carbon Tint films are available in legal 50% VLT grades — giving you maximum heat rejection within the law.
Our IR Ceramic flagship film rejects up to 70% of solar heat (IR radiation). In Indian conditions, this can reduce cabin temperature by 8–12°C compared to unprotected glass, and dramatically reduce air conditioning load — leading to measurable fuel savings on long drives. The exact temperature reduction varies with vehicle type and parking conditions.
Our Carbon Tint and IR Ceramic films are completely metal-free, meaning they cause no signal interference with mobile networks, GPS, Bluetooth, or RFID systems including FASTag. Our Magnetron Sputtered film contains metallic layers and may cause minor interference in some setups — we recommend IR Ceramic for vehicles with multiple connected systems or ADAS features.
Delta window films carry a 5–7 year manufacturer's warranty. Carbon and ceramic films are colour-stable — they will not fade, purple, or bubble under normal conditions within the warranty period. Bubbling is almost always caused by improper installation; our certified installers guarantee bubble-free application with a workmanship warranty.
 Installation
Partial coverage (hood, bumper, fenders) typically takes 1 day. Full body PPF installation takes 2–3 days in a controlled environment. The exact time depends on vehicle size, film choice, and panel complexity. Window film installation is faster — a full set of windows is usually completed in 3–5 hours.
Yes. Your vehicle should be thoroughly decontaminated, clay-barred, and inspected for any existing paint defects. If there are scratches or swirl marks, they should ideally be corrected before PPF is applied — because the film locks in whatever condition the paint is in. Our certified centres offer pre-installation paint correction as an add-on service.
We have 500+ certified installers across all 28 states of India. Submit your details on our Contact page, and our team will connect you with the nearest certified centre within 24 hours. Alternatively, call +91 80100 44000 during business hours for an immediate referral.
You can drive immediately, but we recommend avoiding car washes for 7 days and avoiding high-pressure direct water on film edges for 14 days. This allows the adhesive to fully cure. You may notice minor water bubbles under the film in the first few days — this is completely normal and disappears as the film cures.
 Warranty
Delta PPF products carry warranties of 5–10 years depending on the product line. Warranty covers yellowing, cracking, peeling, bubbling, and delamination under normal use conditions. All claims are processed through our certified installer network with documented support and replacement.
The warranty is voided by: installation by non-certified technicians, use of abrasive polishes or solvents on the film, intentional damage, modification or cutting of the film after installation, and failure to follow the provided aftercare guidelines. Normal wear including minor surface scuffs that self-heal, and edge lifting due to road debris, are covered.
Contact the Delta installer who performed your installation first. If unresolved, contact Delta directly at info@deltappf.in with your warranty card number, installation date, installer details, and photos of the issue. We aim to resolve all claims within 14 business days.
 Care & Maintenance
Use pH-neutral car shampoo and avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive polishes. You can safely machine polish over PPF with the correct foam pads (no cutting compounds). Avoid high-pressure direct washes at film edges. Our aftercare kit includes all recommended products and a full care guide.
Yes — touchless car washes are safe after the first 14 days. Avoid brush-based automatic washes as the brushes can lift film edges over time. Hand washing is always preferred. For best results, use the Delta aftercare detailer spray between washes — it maintains the hydrophobic layer and extends the life of the topcoat.
For heat-activated films (Clear Gloss, Matte, Black Knight, Color Infused, Carbon): pour warm/hot water over the scratched area or use a heat gun at 60–80°C at a distance of 20–25cm. Scratches typically heal within 20–60 seconds. For Wolverine Series Instant Self-Healing: simply leave the car in sunlight or at room temperature — scratches heal within seconds without any intervention.
Yes — this is exactly what PPF is for. Bird droppings contain uric acid that etches paint. On PPF, they only contact the film's topcoat, not your paint. If left for an extended period, the topcoat may show mild etching — but this is usually remedied by the self-healing function with heat. Your paint underneath remains completely unaffected.
 Pricing
Delta PPF pricing starts at approximately ₹18,000 for partial coverage (hood, bumper, fenders) and ranges to ₹85,000+ for full body coverage, depending on vehicle size, film line chosen, and installer location. Luxury SUVs and supercars command higher pricing due to surface area and complexity. All quotes are transparent — no hidden charges.
A quality respray on a luxury vehicle costs ₹80,000–₹2,50,000+ and reduces the car's originality and resale value. PPF at ₹85,000 for full body protection provides a decade of coverage, preserves factory paint, and improves resale value. Over a 10-year period, PPF is typically the most cost-effective way to keep your paint in original condition.
EMI and financing options are available at select certified Delta installers. Ask your nearest installer about 0% EMI for 3–6 months on major credit cards, or NBFC financing options. Contact us and we'll connect you with an installer that offers the financing plan that suits you.
